Prepare for Difficult Conversations
Having difficult conversations is difficult.
They take energy, they take courage, they take preparation. Conversations are often perceived as difficult because of the message we need to communicate or because of the personal relationships that we need to maintain. We can also perceive them as difficult because we might be new to the role or activity, and still find it hard to behave in a new way or adjust.
Regardless, of how much we choose to delay or ignore the need for these conversations, they must be had. They are there to provide feedback and direction; to discuss in the open and listen. To help you manage and prepare for these conversations, we put together a resource pack on the topic.
Once you are prepared, perhaps the difficult conversations will not be so difficult any more.
