GÉANT internships through TIM (Trust and Identity Mentorship) Programme
TIM (Trust Identity Mentorship)* is a GÉANT programme which brings together ambitious young talents, T&I experts and NREN mentors to pioneer new ideas in the Trust & Identity incubator.
TIM takes place in the form of a paid internship hosted by participating NRENs, driven by the Trust & Identity incubation team and funded by the GÉANT project. Selected participants (final year Bachelors, Masters or PhD level students in the fields of Computer Science, Engineering or other technology related fields and interest in Trust and Identity) collaborate directly with T&I experts during a 6 months internship.
For some, these technical topics may form the subject of their thesis, for others working in practice with these experts and help prototyping new ideas in the field bring valuable experiences. Participating NRENs get an opportunity to leave their footprint in the future of Trust and Identity, as they do not only nominate talents, but can also propose T&I topics for the incubator.
TIM Programme successfully launched its first 6 months cycle since November 2019. This will now end in June, after which the first bright and talented TIM team will present their results.
Applications are now open until 15 June 2020. TIM programme will run from June to December 2020.
