Future Talents are ready for TNC19 Lightning Talks

11 young professionals from the European NREN community took a shot at getting a spot on the TNC19 Lightning Talk stage, following an initiative from the Future Talent Programme. They were scouted by universities, mentored by local NRENs, trained and inspired by GLAD. And with great results.

If not speaking at TNC19, our future talents may be confidently speaking at other events. Their training with speaker coach Barbara Rogoski is helping them to always stand out.

One semi-finalist shared: “I had a presentation last Thursday morning for a subject talking about my proposal and her tips really helped, teachers gave me the best grade in 45 presentations so that meant a lot to me”.

Pierre van Houtryve from Belgium (BELNET), António Ferreira from Portugal (FCT/FCCN), Era Ajdaraga from Macedonia (MARNET), and Luca Coviello, Agnese Sbrollini and Enrico Pietrocola from Italy (GARR) are the 6 lucky finalists who will be speaking at TNC19.
