Who is it for?

If you are new to managing a virtual team (or a project) or wish to extend your people management skills then this comprehensive introduction to the subject of managing virtual teams and projects will be of use.

What will I learn?

  • Social and task behaviours that can support an effective team
  • A responsibility assignment matrix
  • The difference in awareness between team members in a collocated team and between team members in a virtual team
  • The approaches and techniques needed for a virtual team to be successful.

Accessing your learning means that you will be sharing your personal details (full name and email address) to register and log in.

Completing any form of training creates a training record (subject of learning, when completed, completion rate, duration, test/exam results wherever applicable).  It also includes the feedback and comments that you may share with the training provider and GLAD.

We shall use this information to contact you (provided we have your consent) to discuss your progression through a training course, your comments on your learning experience and feedback and recommendations for future training.

The log in information and your learning records will be with external training providers should training is provided by them.

Anonymised data on uptake of training and its outcomes will be used to produce reports to the Project to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training on Project activities.
