Amazing TNC19 experience for Future Talents

Six young finalists of the Future Talent Programme 2019 took on the challenge of delivering a 5-minute speech showcasing their innovative ideas to the most prestigious global audience of seasoned professionals.

Topics ranged from heart monitoring, quality of health data, digitalising music scores to a new programming language, agriculture and oenology – all aiming to use technology for the benefit of each one us and the world we live in.

Alongside important stuff and serious learning there were moments to be silly, have fun and relax at the conference social events; it all led to forging new collaborations and connections between participants and global NREN community (and, of course, making new friends!).

It was not only the challenge for the students, but for the coaches as well when Gabriella Paolini held centre stage and delighted the audience with her “Internet for kids” talk.

Although the programme is called the Future Talent, the 2019 Finalists demonstrated without any doubt that they are the talents here and now and they have the great future.

“Giving the Lightning talk at TNC was an amazing experience, and the whole FTP programme was a great opportunity for me. Thanks for everything and I hope to see other students next year at TNC20!” – Luca Coviello, FTP19 finalist.
